If you haven’t already found a wise way to spend your Climate Action Dividend cheque, the Light House Sustainable Building Centre’s Greening Your Home Kit might fit the bill.

The kit includes a dozen affordable items (most are made in Canada), such as a faucet aerator, weatherstripping, 100 percent pure beeswax candles, laundry detergent and other green goods. It costs just $95, so you’ll have five bucks to spare – just about enough for a round-trip on transit to pick up the kit at Light House’s Granville Island office.
