For his daring plunge, South Africa-native Schultz will be wearing a wingsuit, a special suit that allows the jumper to glide down through the air before deploying a parachute to make their landing.

Snake wrangler, skydiver and daredevil extraordinaire

Schultz is no stranger to death-defying stunts.

By the age of 13, he was already interning in South Africa’s world famous Fitzsimons Snake Park, working with some of the most venomous snakes in the world.

It was not long before Schultz’s fascination with snakes spread to other animals, and soon Schultz was handling everything from crocodiles to jellyfish to jaguars.

In addition to hosting the Discovery Channel’s Wild Recon, he has made appearances on various television shows, including Feeding Frenzy, Hell’s Kitchen, The Martha Stewart Show and Chelsea Lately.

When he isn’t catching and studying some of the world’s deadliest creatures, Schultz is also an avid scuba diver and skydiver, proving this daredevil is up for just about any life-threatening challenge he can find.

Schultz is stopping over in Vancouver on June 1 before heading over to Stawamus Chief, where he will be from June 2 to 4.

If wind conditions are in his favour, Shultz will be making jumps off the Chief each day.
