House: A Medical History

It was originally conceived as Law & Order set in a hospital. But House proved to be something entirely different. Thanks to the casting of Hugh Laurie as the brilliant but deeply flawed Dr. Gregory House, viewers were quickly fascinated by the grumpy, pill-popping curmudgeon. As the series gets ready to air its final episode this week, in our exclusive interview, House creator David Shore looks back on the show’s eight seasons and its most memorable moments.
