The happy family: Kristi, Paul and Jordan

Global BC's Kristi Gordon and husband Paul Klawer welcome their big baby boy Jordan Henry Klawer to the family

Global BC meteorologist Kristi Gordon has carved a television career out of predicting the weather. But she couldn’t have forecast how her life would change when she became a first-time mom one year ago.

In tvw's exclusive cover story, on stands Fri, July 13, the Vancouver broadcaster introduces us to her bouncing baby boy and opens up about the sometimes less-than-perfect realities of trying to juggle both parenthood and career. Before you grab the mag, enjoy these exclusive bonus photos.

Jordan is such a handsome boy, you must be very proud of him. Kristi I just want to say you are the smartest dresser I have ever seen on any of the News stations. May I ask where you buy your clothes?

Hi Cristy. Congatulations on the new baby "Jordan". He will have a gas growing up in Vancouver. Scuba in the morning, skiing in the afternoon!!! Way cool! Don't listen to all the "jerks" dissing you and Wesla. I Live in North Vancouver, and just love it here. My only comment is raise the weather map, because it's not very flattering to see you "lean" into the weather map all the time. You are a beautiful girl with an obviously great family. And being a tug boat Captain for over 35 years, I Rely on Meterologists to keep me,and my crew safe! I am Captain Brian Lacina, At brianis@shaw.ca.Keep up the great work! Global has been good to you, and your "real" fans feel good you are there!

Thanks for sharing the beautiful pics of your family. As a mom of 3 very little ones, I know how fast the moments go and enjoy all the time you can get with them. I'm currently on mat leave and not looking forward to going back to work full time... wish I could afford to stay at home for their first 6 years. All the best. We miss you as our weather reporter though.

Thanks for sharing Kristi...those are beautiful pictures of your little guy, you and your hubby. God Bless You All and all I can say now as a grandma...enjoy every moment because before you know it they are moving out and that is so hard. It took me like 6 years before I got over it. Now I am enjoying 5 Grandchildren and they are the light of my life. Wouldn't change a thing. It's all good :).

Most larger size babies are slow to walk. Usually it is boys so don't worry that Teagan was walking at 10 months.
