Need more of your Parenthood fix? These real-life documentaries focus on cast-member's parenting experiences

Parenthood mini-docs capture personal lives of cast

When you really love a show, you cultivate a certain hunger for anything related to it. Parenthood is in the middle of another gripping season and I’ve been itching to get my hands on videos to watch between episodes — and I found them.

NBC recorded mini documentaries (they refer to them as “docusodes”) called Real Stories of Parenthood, where real parents — including the actors from the show — discuss the challenges and celebrations involved in raising children and keeping a family together.

The docusodes shed light on the cast members’ real-life parenting experiences and formative moments and memories from their own childhood.
