Senga Lindsay walks us through a sustainable garden in New Zealand’s Hamilton Botanical Gardens for inspiration in our own backyards

Here is a ‘How to’ video we shot while on a trip to New Zealand last December. We were in the Hamilton Botanical Gardens, which showcases a variety of garden rooms on different garden design styles.

Here, we focus on sustainable gardens and elements in the garden that create more ecologically friendly gardens for the home owner, including: permaculture, rain barrels, aquaculture, honey bee hives, raised beds for higher yields, worm tea and lots more.

Have questions on how to implement these techniques into your own garden?
