Bilt in Vancouver

Since Nalgene's fortunes began to falter, in April, when the Canadian government declared that Bisphenol A (BPA)—a component in the polycarbonate bottles—was toxic, a vacuum has opened in the water-bottle market.
Now, reports TreeHugger, a Vancouver is filling it: Markets, like frat boys, abhor a vacuum, and Bilt has joined the drinking vessel game with a range of stainless steel bottles in various sizes and colours. The bottles have threaded collars and lids of food-grade polypropylene, and the wide-mouth versions fit the water filters that were designed for the ubiquitous polycarbonate Nalgene bottle.
Bilt has scenic photos lakes, mountains, and smiling Indian children on its homepage, and, perhaps not surprisingly, an elaborate list of values and codes of conduct on their site. In Vancouver, their bottles are available at various London Drugs location; Mountain Equipment Co-op; and Hip Baby, on 4th Avenue.
