In this futuristic thriller, Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays a hit man in the past whose assignments are to kill whoever is sent back by the mob in 2072. When his future self (Bruce Willis) is sent to him to be killed, it sets off a chain of events that are as confusing as they are action-packed. After the last film became a world-wide hit – and the most profitable Canadian film of all time – it’s no wonder we’re getting a fifth one. Michelle Rodriquez and Sienna Guillory return to help out Alice (Milla Jovovich), who is once again trying to take down the Umbrella Corporation in this violent thriller. The Words

Bradley Cooper plays a writer who faces all sorts of bad juju when the truth comes out that his best-selling book was stolen from another writer who wrote the manuscript years earlier. (Released Monday, December 24)

10 Years

Screenwriter Jamie Linden (We Are Marshall) makes his directorial debut with this dramedy about a group of friends (including Channing Tatum, Rosario Dawson, and Parks and Recreation‘s Chris Pratt and Aubrey Plaza) who gather for their 10-year high school reunion with mixed results.

Ages of Love

This Italian romantic drama tells three separate stories about love’s surprising appearance in several people’s lives including Robert De Niro (speaking Italian) as an American art history professor whose quiet post-divorce life in Rome is turned upside-down when he meets the younger Monica Bellucci.  (eOne)

Cosmopolis

Robert Pattinson stars in David Cronenberg’s film about a day in the life of a rich banker who travels around entirely conducting his business – and personal life – from the back of a stretch limo. (eOne)

Red Hook Summer

Spike Lee co-wrote and directed this charming tale of a young boy from Atlanta who is awakened to a new world when he is sent to Brooklyn one summer to live with his grandfather (The Wire’s Clarke Peters) – a deeply religious man.

The Thompsons

In this sequel to the little-seen 1996 film The Hamiltons, this family of nomadic vampires head to England to track down a branch of their family tree and wind up in a deadly war that could end their lineage forever. (eOne)

Black Like Me

For the first time ever, this 1964 drama – based on the real-life experience of author John Howard Griffin – is getting a DVD release. James Whitmore stars as a man who believable makes himself up to appear to be African-American to examine the way they were treated in the South during the late 1950s with shocking results. This new restored version of the film (from the original negative) comes with EXTRAS such as an hour-long documentary on the life of Griffin and more.

Butter

A cast of familiar faces (including Jennifer Garner, Modern Family‘s Ty Burrell, Rob Corddry and Hugh Jackman) populate this political satire set among the townsfolk of a small Iowa town with a serious butter-carving contest.
