You can create the perfect smokey eye in black, brown or a variety of other colours

The smokey eye look is the most coveted of makeup trends because it's alluring, sexy and sensual

But to have this effect, the smokey eye has to be done right, and that's not as easy as it looks.

Here are the products that can help you achieve the perfect smokey eye.

Lise Watier Solo Eyeshadow

This light, finely textured eye shadow is gently applied for a translucent or opaque finish, depending on the desired effect. I like it because you can play around with the intensity of the colour

Lise Watier Couleur Folle Mineral Loose Powder Eyeshadow

What other eyeshadow can give you such a soft and natural finish, or a richer, more glamorous look just by playing with the colour? You can either apply it with a makeup brush, a sponge tip applicator or your fingers, and it’s paraben free!

I love to use the powder eyeshadow partly over the darker shade to create illusions of colour.

Lise Watier Métamorfix Liquid Transformer

This is my mega secret weapon! Turn ordinary eyeshadow into a super, long-lasting eyeliner with Métamorfix Liquid Transformer.

Smudge the colour with a black eye kohl and it's pure magic! I love this stuff!

You can find these Lise Watier products at your local London Drugs.

Indeed, previous commenter. I have no idea how to create the smokey eye look, so it's just as difficult to achieve as it was before I read this article, whose lede led me to believe I might get a clue how to do it. The Liquid Transformer section is particularly puzzling - why would I want to turn eyeshadow into eyeliner? And now that I've got eyeliner over the entire surface of my eyelid seems to me the eyeliner effect (which I always thought was to make your lashes look thicker at the base) is totally gone. I may have to give up makeup entirely now. Perhaps that was Nira Arora's subversive intention.

:-) No, don't give up on it. Besides, the smokey eye look really only is suitable for evenings. Just make sure it's dark, so any "irregularities" are less noticeable.

Nira Arora's subversive intention might have been to get some discount at London Drugs for dropping their name and linking to them; same goes for the products.

bcliving, however, seems to demand so (too?) much content from their contributors that they can't come up with anything substantial. I've been reading here ever since I got "relocated" by Granville Mag -- but I'll be saying bye-bye pretty soon. It should be clear to anybody with a brain that quantity matters much less than quality. I'd much rather have ONE real newsletter every 2 weeks than the almost daily so-called newsletter that's utter rubbish.

Wow. What a lame ad for Lise Watier products & London Drugs. Nira, I hope you didn't even get a kickback for that from those two. You could at least have showed some effort in writing about what your headline promises. Booooh!
