That’s what I used to say, until I realized that it’s really easy to clean vintage/secondhand shoes!

 

How to clean secondhand shoes

 

Simply spray some rubbing alcohol on the insides and wipe with a clean cloth; then lay them out to dry in the sun, or just air dry (no, I haven’t forgotten that we live in Vancouver!). Insert your own insoles and you’re good to go!
