Toyota Prius Hybrid (2009)
The Toyota Prius has quickly become a star hybrid, driven around by green celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, Julia Roberts, Larry David, Ewan McGregor and Robin Williams – and even your favourite Vancouver cab driver.

The Prius hybrid is a gasoline-and-electric vehicle combo, helping to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Regenerative braking allows the kinetic energy of the car in motion to be converted into storable electrical energy that can be accessed for city driving. To further reduce fuel consumption, it’s also more aerodynamic than previous models by Toyota.
