Here's a sneak peek at what to expect when the lights shine again...
Javier NavalInspired by the beloved film, Anastasia takes us on a journey to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s as a young woman sets out to discover the truth about her past. Intertwined with mystery and misfortune, and a rather creepy Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya must put her trust in a stranger as they embark on this memorizing adventure for answers.
HamiltonHamilton captivates audiences with the extraordinary tale of an immigrant (Alexander Hamilton) from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation's first Treasury Secretary. With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the Grammy-, Tony- and Olivier-Award winning production features blends of hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway and is a true modern masterpiece.
3. Come from Away
Mat MurphyBased on a true story and a community that welcomed the world, Tony winner Come from Away tells the remarkable tale of 7,000 stranded passengers following the 9/11 attacks and the small town in Newfoundland that helped them. This breathtaking new musical sees cultures clash, compassion erupt and connections form that would last forever.
4. Jesus Christ Superstar
Matthew MurphyThe global phenomenon and multi-awarding winning production Jesus Christ Superstar was originally a 1970 rock opera album by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice before its transition into the classic Broadway hit musical. The story, told entirely through song, is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas. Exploring personal relationships and struggles, this one-of-a-kind production has been deemed uniquely fresh and inspiring.
