We all eagerly await the holiday season, but if you’re particularly excited about Christmas decorations, why not celebrate Christmas in October? Creekside Home Decor in Central Village Chilliwack lets you do just that, with their annual Christmas Open House.

From October 21 to 23, 2021, kick off the Christmas festivities by immersing yourself and your family in a winter wonderland, and envision your own home’s holiday transformation in a safe way. The open house also features holiday staples like hot apple cider, new and exciting Christmas decorations, giveaways and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

This will be Creekside’s 19th year holding the open house. “We started in 2002,” says shop owner Kimberly Byers, “We had closed the store and decorated for a few days, and we wanted something special to announce and kick off the Christmas season. We saw this as a good opportunity to give all our loyal customers a chance to win one of our giveaways, while providing a gift with purchase to everyone.”

The open house has long been a hit with the local community, with interest in the dates beginning in June. “The open house used to be just one day but with the overwhelming engagement of the community we have had to increase to three days to accommodate everyone. We love the eager anticipation from the public leading up to the open house, and are rewarded with joy as our customers experience the holiday transformation.””

This year’s event will be following COVID protocols as directed by health officials.
