Passione GelatoFacebook/Passione GelatoThis year, Passione Gelato's special Lunar New Year flavour will be Roasted Oolong. The reason behind this choice? Oolong tea was the first of its kind to be named a "tribute tea" during the 10th century, and is a sacred tea that people share with each other as a symbol of honour. The flavour profile and aroma lies somewhat between green tea and black tea, and the roasted tea leaves give the gelato a bold and robust flavour which compliments the Italian richness and creaminess harmoniously.
