1.The Douglas Fir Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz gin (Douglas Fir Gin*)
  • ½ oz Cointreau
  • ½ oz Blanc Vermouth
  • 3 drops of Orange & Juniper Bittered Sling Bitters

Garnish

  • Dehydrated orange
  • Douglas fir tip

*The Douglas Autograph Collection Hotel has distilled its very own gin in collaboration with Yaletown Distilling Co. The Douglas Fir Gin has a delicate pine note and a full bouquet of eight botanicals, including juniper berries and licorice root. The Douglas Fir Gin is available in-room at the Douglas for $26 plus tax and can be enjoyed at the D6 Bar and Lounge.

 

2. Gin Sour

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Ampersand Gin*
  • ¾ oz lemon juice

  • ¾ oz simple syrup

  • ½ oz pasteurized egg white

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to cocktail shaker without ice. Shake vigorously.
  2. Open carefully and add ice. Shake again.
  3. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish any way you choose.
