Try out this easy variation on the classic Italian salad from Vancouver's Kitskitchen


  • Grape tomatoes
  • Mini mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
  • Fresh basil
  • Balsamic reduction (we love Whistler-based Nonna Pia Gourmet)
  • Extra long toothpicks
  • A pinch of salt


  1. After skewering a portion of basil, tomato and mozzarella to each toothpick (as pictured), drizzle the balsamic reduction overtop.
  2. Add a pinch of salt on top to accentuate taste.
