This Sunday, June 20th, it’s Dad’s big day again! With dining restrictions eased slightly in British Columbia, the delicious options available in and around the city are plentiful.

1. Railtown Café and Catering

For all BBQ-loving fathers out there, Railtown’s Father’s Day feast is packed with southern charm and sure to impress. 2. The Graze Company

Canada’s first-to-market luxe charcuterie board experience in a box, The Graze Company have unveiled their ‘The Graze Ultimate Man Box’ ($175, serves two to four) featuring sweet and savoury bites with the option of a refreshing craft brew. The collection includes a variety of curated items, including smoked gouda and peppered cheddar, Cotto ham, garlic sausage, pepperoni sticks, artichoke and asiago dip, grainy mustard, salty jumbo pretzel and spicy cheese sauce for dipping, prosciutto-wrapped breadsticks, hot peppers, crackers, crudités, grapes, chocolate-covered almonds, nuts and fresh herbs as garnish. 3. The Lazy Gourmet

Vancouver’s leading caterer, The Lazy Gourmet, serves up several ways to celebrate Dad this year. Their ‘Butcher Box’ ($110) for BBQ lovers, includes a flavourful assortment for grilling at home with a 12 ounce ribeye, 8 ounce striploin, stuffed chicken breasts, Za’atar and garlic lamb kabobs, and teriyaki chicken breasts, whilst their special ‘Father’s Day Box’ ($75) is filled with savoury bites like buttermilk fried chicken wings and BBQ ribs, crispy coleslaw, macaroni salad, jalapeño cheddar cornbread, pickles and pickled vegetables, waffle sticks and whiskey maple syrup. 7. Fresh Ideas

Fresh Ideas, the boat-to-table sustainable seafood company, hs launched a seafood grill kit ($95, serves two to four) for Father’s Day, that features a variety of BBQ-friendly seafood such as one pound of fresh B.C. halibut steak, two Nova Scotia lobster tails with garlic butter, B.C. octopus tentacles with spicy mayo, and salmon sausages with pickled onions. Customers can also find an array of accompanying accoutrements to go with their kits including smoked maple salmon candy nuggets, housemade crab cakes, spot prawn croquettes and caviar.

8. Tractor at Home

The gourmet meal and grocery delivery service, Tractor at Home, is keeping things fresh and fun this June with the launch of two new Father’s Day meal bundles to suit all fathers. Chef-owner Justin Cheung of Potluck Hawker Eatery, has put together a special fried chicken bucket full of flavourful fried chicken and paired with a variety of sides, housemade dipping sauces and drinks. The ‘Fried Chicken Joy Feast’ ($125, feeding four to six), includes eight pieces of coconut milk fried tenders, two pounds of Potluck’s famous fish sauce caramel chicken wings, and salted egg yolk popcorn chicken, alongside popular options like housemade coleslaw, Malaysian shaker rries, Fife Bakery milkbread, and a new creation (and staff meal favourite), Filipino spaghetti filled with Two Rivers beef and sliced hot dogs in a savoury tomato sauce sweetened with banana ketchup.

11. Aburi Restaurants

For Father’s Day this year, the team at Miku are offering a chef-curated ‘A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Jyu Bento To-Go’ ($80), featuring A5 Miyazaki wagyu, market vegetables, wasabi pickles and steamed rice.
