We uncover the most picturesque and luxury Airbnb stays beautiful British Columbia has to offer
Location: Heritage Peaks Chalet, Whistler
The details: $6,000 per night / Five-night minimum stay / Sleeps 10
The amenities: For slope-side luxury, make your way to the ultimate chalet nestled among the snow-covered pine trees of Kadenwood, a rare, private enclave of mountain home sites situated high above Whistler Creekside. This 6,200-square-foot getaway is steps from groomed private trails and a private gondola, making your ski-in/ski-out experience one of a kind. With a party room, gourmet kitchen, fire-warmed lounges and terrace on all three levels, this home in the mountains encourages relaxation and excitement between adventures. The mid level’s open-concept great room and terrace is home to a wood-burning fireplace, TV lounge and chef-grade kitchen with a large table situated beside a generous wine rack. (That’s access that’s too easy if you ask us!) The glass terrace doors open to the alfresco dining table, barbecue grill and fire pit, overlooking the stunning panorama. On the lower level, a party room is equipped with a ping pong table, wet bar, game table, gym and lounge with fireplace, opening up to the lower terrace with fire pit and hot tub, ready for you to relax aching muscles after a day on the slopes. The master bedroom boasts spectacular views across the valley and the ensuite bathroom—with stand-alone rain shower, bathtub and fireplace—is grand enough to never want to leave.
Activities in the area: A short eight kilometre trip to Whistler Village will see you in the hub of restaurants, bars and shops and a nine minute drive will take you to popular Nita Lake. With easy ski access only a five-minute walk away, and Whistler’s golf club a quick drive away, you’ll have enough activities to keep you busy all year long.
