The amenities: For a totally unique and magical stay, head to the heart of downtown Victoria and hideaway in the Gryffindor common room, complete with robes and all the quirky features you’d expect to see in Hogwarts. Decked out with all the bells and whistles, this Harry Potter-inspired home comes complete with a full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, microwave, basic cooking items and coffee and tea, making your stay as comfortable as possible. Designed to sleep four, the functional layout includes a Murphy bed downstairs and a queen bed in the loft above. Sit in the bay window and enjoy a game of wizards chess, or get cozy on the couch and opt for a movie marathon with the complete collection of Harry Potter films provided.

Activities in the area: With downtown Victoria on your doorstep, you won’t be short of things to do. Head to the Royal British Columbia Museum to learn about the natural and cultural history in Canada, walk along the inner harbour and stop off at the historic Fairmont Empress Hotel for afternoon tea or stroll down lower Johnson Street for a spot of shopping and take in the street’s colourful Victorian buildings housing some of the city’s best independent boutiques, retailers and restaurants.
