With organic ingredients, an emphasis on the natural, and a dedication to cruelty-free, this collection has been specifically curated for our valued subscribers all over the country
Fall is traditionally a season to reset. After all the summer fun, we take a moment to switch out our shorts-and-sunblock routine for pants and jackets as we cozy up for cooler months.
This autumn, we wanted to provide the Extraordinary Man family with a collection of favourites—products that were proven during our research to offer up major benefits for your skin, your style and your home as the seasons change. We called on some of the best designers and makers across Canada to gather items that will undoubtedly bolster and inspire.
1. Bromance Under Eye Defense, $42
We’ve been big fans of the product offerings of Toronto’s BROmance for a long while now, so—after many requests—we are including their under-eye wonder in this delivery. Lightweight and unique, it effectively smooths the appearance of wrinkles, evens skin tone and texture, and helps restore elasticity and firmness. Cruelty- and paraben-free, it boasts hyaluronic acid, periwinkle, licorice root extract and more. Plus, five percent of all sales are donated to Jack.org, a charity that strives to improve the mental health of men across the country.
2. Scentuals Vitamin C Facial Serum
It’s time to repair that sun-damaged skin! Formulated with Vitamin C, E, hyaluronic acid and edelweiss plant stem cells, this lightweight serum from Vancouver’s Scentuals helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles, prevents collagen loss and hydrates while protecting and nourishing the skin. Apply two to four drops in your hands, breathe in the fresh citrus scent, and gently massage into your face and neck morning and/or evening. $50
3. Opagee Scent Free Repair Cream, $30
Vancouver’s Opagee skin care’s products are 100 percent natural, vegan, cruelty-free, toxin-free and made in small batches to maintain exceptional quality. Crafted with shea butter and organic aloe, this repair cream hydrates, moisturizes and nourishes from head to toe and is especially recommended for people with dry and sensitive skin, eczema or psoriasis. Use it all over your body; it works particularly well on dry-prone areas like hands, elbows, feet and knees.
4. Blush Peony Bamboo Cheese & Cutting Board
Ideal for serving charcuterie or for smaller chopping jobs, this board from Blush Peony is going to be a mainstay in your kitchen. Made from sustainable bamboo, it is both light and durable and features an elegant striped design. Treat with oil (we recommend coconut oil) to keep sanitary and to extend the life of your board. Hand wash only with warm water and mild soap. Wash before use. $20
5. Loosely The Calm or The Pumpkin Tea, $15.99
Whether you received The Pumpkin or The Calm from Vancouver’s Loosely Tea, we know you’ll enjoy the beautiful flavour and aroma of these blends. The Calm is a green tea with dark buds of lavender that helps reduce inflammation, clears congestion and increases metabolism; while The Pumpkin is a spiced black tea that helps support a healthy immune system, delivers vitamins to the body and contributes to healthy weight management. Brew for three minutes and enjoy.
6. AG Hands Free Sanitizer Gel, $9.99
If there’s one thing we’ve learned during the pandemic, it’s that keeping our hands clean is an important part of staying healthy. When you’re on the go and don’t have access to soap and water, maintain your hand hygiene this flu season with AG’s Hands Free hand sanitizer gel. Formulated with ethyl alcohol 73 percent (exceeding both CDC and WHO guidelines), this gel kills 99.9 percent of germs, yet leaves hands feeling moisturized and protected, thanks to ingredients like vitamin E, glycerine and aloe vera.
