The world-renowned French pâtisserie, Ladurée has launched a limited edition macaron box collection with Milanese lifestyle brand La DoubleJ, in addition to unveiling a new creation, the rose macaron cake. Created by executive pastry chef Eulalie Hermand, the rose macaron cake is available in both individual ($11) and large sizes (from $42 for four) and features rose macaron biscuit with a layer of raspberry crisp, fresh grapefruit jelly and a delicate grapefruit crémeux. Their Mother’s Day brunch kit ($119, serving four to six) includes a choice of quiche, Lyonnaise potatoes, housemade scones with mascarpone cream and house preserves, butter lettuce salad and a dozen assorted tarts, squares and cookies for dessert.
