1. Mean Girls – Sunday, May 6, 1 p.m. & 7 p.m., W Network

Still just a humble Saturday Night Live player, Tina Fey gave us a taste of the film ?and TV juggernaut she would ultimately become by penning and co-starring in this bubbly satire about a teen (Lindsay Lohan) who sets out to infiltrate and destroy her new school’s cruellest clique (led by Rachel McAdams).

2. Call the Midwife – Sunday, May 6, 5 p.m. & 9 p.m., WTVS; 8 p.m. KCTS | Season Finale

As the nuns mourn a departed friend, everyone tries to stay positive by planning a birthday party,? while also helping a young mother who’s left her cheating husband and is grappling with a surprising revelation about her father. Amidst all this, a familiar face reappears.

3. Hard Sun – Sunday, May 6, 7:08 p.m. & 9:28 p.m., Bravo | Series Premiere

Charlie Hicks and Elaine Renko neither trust nor like each other, but each is painfully aware their fates are inexorably intertwined.? As played by Jim Sturgess (21) and Agyness Deyn (Clash of the Titans) in Luther creator Neil Cross’s latest dark crime drama, they’re detectives with the London police force who couldn’t be more polar opposite.

Charlie is a solid family man and a committed cop, but also profoundly corrupt. After his beloved partner is killed in the line of duty, he is paired with Elaine, a difficult personality with a troubled past who is also incorruptible.

As each grudgingly accepts their new situation, they come into information during the investigation of an apparent suicide that changes everything—a coming cosmic disaster will end all life on Earth within the next five years.

4. Independent Lens – Monday, May 7, 10 p.m., KCTS; Tuesday, May 8, 8 p.m., WTVS

Tensions were running high in 2016, when protestors railing against the treatment of two men convicted of federal land arson locked horns with federal authorities at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon. In short order, it became a national media spectacle, one which lasted for 41 days and ultimately ended in blood. “By living with the characters in No Man’s Land,” director David Byars told The Hollywood Reporter, “audiences will walk a mile in the shoes of those whose ideologies they perhaps oppose at their very core, but come away with a deep recognition of common humanity.”

5. Running Wild with Bear Grylls – Sunday, May 7, 10:01 p.m., NBC | Season Premiere

As the first three seasons have shown us, it’s always entertaining to see stars like Channing Tatum, Ben Stiller and Zac Efron leave their posh private jets behind and battle it out with Mother Nature for 48 hours, with nothing but the pack on their back and the sage wisdom of Bear Grylls to keep them from succumbing to the harsh bite of the outdoors.

Who’s primed to face the wild this time out? Watch for episodes featuring tennis champ Roger Federer, Inception star Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Game of Thrones‘ Lena Headey, Orange Is the New Black‘s Uzo Aduba, The Americans‘ Keri Russell, Dancing With the Stars‘ Derek Hough, actor Scott Eastwood (son of Clint) and Avengers alum Don Cheadle.

6. Marcia Clark Investigates the First 48 – Thursday, May 10, 6 p.m. & 10:03 p.m., A&E | Season Finale

The first season wraps with a look at Joe Hunt, founder of the bogus investment group dubbed the Billionaire Boys Club, who turned to murder when he ran out of money and became desperate to keep his Ponzi scheme afloat.

7. The Big Bang Theory – Thursday, May 10, 8 p.m., CTV & CBS | Season Finale

You are cordially invited to the wedding of Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler, ?with the season finale featuring?the nerdy nuptials we’ve all been waiting for. Also on the guest list: Star Wars‘ Mark Hamill and Oscar winner Kathy Bates in a mystery role, along with returning guest stars John Ross Bowie (reprising the role of frenemy Barry Kripke), Laurie Metcalf and Courtney Henggeler (a.k.a. Sheldon’s mom and sister), and Sheldon’s nemesis Wil Wheaton of Star Trek: TNG fame.

8. Bill Nye Saves the World – Thursday, May 11, Netflix | Season Premiere

The man formerly known as the “Science Guy” returns for a third season of his Netflix show, with all six episodes dropping at once on the streaming service. This go-round, Nye is ready to tackle essential, thought-provoking subjects like the truth behind evolution, what pets can teach us all about being human and how the ever-creeping threat of climate change is going to impact some of the foods we consume in the future.

As with seasons one and two, helping him along the way are several guest stars/lab assistants, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, model Karlie Kloss and comedian Paul F. Tompkins.

9. Dynasty – Friday, May 11, 8 p.m., The CW | Season Finale

Remakes are all the rage these days,?but that doesn’t mean every reimagined offering will catch on with audiences. Luckily, while the first season of Dynasty only drew so-so ratings, thanks to? The CW’s partnership with Netflix, Fallon Carrington and her filthy-rich family will return for a second season next year.

10. Meghan Markle: An American Princess – Friday, May 11, 8 p.m., City & Fox

When Prince Harry proposed to U.S.-born Suits star Meghan Markle, the whole world suddenly wanted to know everything about this real-life princess-to-be. Where did she come from? How did they meet? Who is her family? Will they live happily ever after? Now a documentary about Markle, with expert interviews ranging from Markle’s half-sister to Princess Diana’s butler, is set to answer every question fans may have.
