Mexicofest Fiesta Mexico Independencia — Sept. 7

On September 7, dance, eat and drink (uno mas!) Mexican-style at the Mexicofest Fiesta Mexico Independencia at the Vancouver Convention Center from 12 pm to 9 pm. Enjoy a free zumba class, meet Mexican singer Aleks Syntek, and enjoy Mexican food vendors.

Life In Colour — Sept. 7

The world’s largest paint party is coming to the Pacific Coliseum on September 7 from 7 pm to 1 am. Life in Colour promises to take you on a unique, uplifting experience that will leave you feeling happy and full of peace.

Luxury Supercar Weekend — Sept. 7-8

Luxury Supercar Weekend returns to Canada for the fourth year. Take in stunning vintage, electric, and supercar automotive masterpieces handpicked by the Concours d’Elegance selection committee.

Coho Run — Sept. 8

Think you can outrun a salmon? Participate in the 33rd Annual Coho Run and race the Coho Salmon to the North Shore finish line. While running the 14K, you’ll take in scenic views from the seawall, Lions Gate Bridge and Ambleside Beach. At the finish line, enjoy a visual arts exhibit, entertainment, and succulent salmon barbecue.

Grouse Grind Mingle Night — Sept. 11

Is your dream companion red-faced and covered in sweat? In between gasping breaths, mingle while you climb the Grouse Grind. When you reach the top, enjoy a meal from Altitude Bistro and show off what remains of your lung capacity with a little Karaoke.

Waterfront Yoga at Canada Place — Sept. 12

Stretch, pose, and absorb the spectacular waterfront view. It’s all part of the Lululemon Robson Street initiative. Certified instructors will guide you in Hatha, Flow and Power to Yin classes. Donations toward admission and rental mats go to the Strathcona’s Food Security for Children program.
