The Pear Tree

Run by the husband and wife team Scott and Stephanie Jaeger, The Pear Tree uses local, seasonal and organic products in many of their dishes. Book a reservation and try one of their delicious culinary creations, like the pan roasted trout served with pomme dauphine and butternut squash.

Anton’s Pasta Bar

If you’ve never been to Anton’s Pasta Bar before and are worried about finding it, don’t stress. Just look for a long line stretching along East Hastings. The pasta served at Anton’s may come in monumental proportions (seriously, the servings are huge), but rest assured, quality is never sacrificed for quantity. The pasta is made fresh on site every day, and many of the recipes used in their dishes have been handed down from Italian owner Tony Mauro’s own mother, so you know it’s the real deal.
