This weekend, the culinary world becomes your oyster at the 12th annual EAT! Vancouver Food Expo
For three glorious days, BC Place will be a foodie heaven, because EAT! Vancouver Food & Cooking Festival has arrived. As Canada’s largest consumer food expo, EAT! promises to be an incredible experience.
Rub elbows with celebrity chefs and cookbook authors as you sample tons of local and international food and drink. Make your way to over 250 excited exhibitors ready to share their food and knowledge, and attend one of the hands-on cooking classes to get in touch with your inner culinary artist. Vikram Vij Owner of two intensely popular local restaurants, Vij’s Restaurant and Vij’s Rangoli and current guest judge on Chopped Canada.

Michael P Clive Specializing in grilling, Michael P. Clive will be letting you in on all the tips and tricks needed for the ultimate BBQ.

Watch as Vikram Vij, Jackie Ellis and Ned Bell battle. They’ll have 20 minutes to create three seasonal entrée dishes featuring a secret ingredient. Contestants will be judged by Chef Rob Feenie.

At EAT!, bites of food are complemented with sips of some of the best drinks British Columbia has to offer. If you’re interested in the behind-the-scenes of how these wines, beers and spirits are made, you’re in luck because you’ll have the opportunity to talk the nitty gritty with the producers themselves.
Make your way to the Sips Stage for an even more hands-on introduction where you’ll learn how to pair your drinks with food.

Join the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts’ Chef instructors as they teach you how to hone your culinary skills. The hands-on classes are an hour long, and each class costs $28 plus tax per person. Book your classes as soon as possible, because available spots are going fast.
