It's official! After months of speculation, Lindsay Lohan will be playing Elizabeth Taylor in the Liz & Dick Lifetime movie
Do you think Lindsay will make a good Elizabeth Taylor?
The long-rumored casting move is now official. Lindsay Lohan will play Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime biopic Liz & Dick.
The film will focus on the tempestuous relationship between Taylor and Richard Burton. The two silver screen icons spent nearly a quarter century together and were married and divorced twice.
In a statement, Lohan says, “I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor. She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well.”
This film will continue the public rehabilitation tour for the oft-troubled Lohan. She recently guest hosted Saturday Night Live to mixed reviews. In late 2011, she posed for Playboy.
The film will begin production in early June. Casting for Burton’s role has not yet begun, this according to a Lifetime spokesperson.
