Organic cotton boy-cut briefs, garnished with a screen-printed cherry motif and “eat organic” assertion, impart a bite of naughty to the skivvy staple designed by Christi York, the wit and wisdom behind Vancouver-based BuenoStyle.
York, now a freelance designer who began her career in the snowboarding industry, follows a philosophy of eating organic foods and shopping locally. When she discovered a dearth of organic undies on the market, York decided to design her own line – and give it a little cheek.
Made with 96-per-cent organic cotton – grown without nasty pesticides and herbicides – and four-per-cent Lycra for a bit of stretch, these pretty panties come in a range of sizes to fit full-figured and slim-hipped shapes and are available in two ripe colours: cherry and kiwi.
BuenoStyle “Eat Organic” undies and recycled jewelry are available at Barefoot Contessa and Fine Finds, both in Vancouver.
