Baked kale chips are a healthy, low-calorie snack

Baking kale is one of the easiest ways to prepare this leafy green. And kale chips make one of the healthiest snacks around

Kale chips can be baked plain with a little oil, but adding parmesan cheese gives the crispy greens a bit of additional flavour.

  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese (or more to taste)
  • Spray olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Dry kale thoroughly.
  3. Remove kale leaves from the tough stem and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Place kale leaves in a large bowl.
  5. Spray with olive oil lightly to coat.
  6. Toss with parmesan cheese.
  7. Lay on a large baking sheet in a single layer. Bake about 15 minutes or until leaves are crispy.
