For a truly great brunch experience, try Fleuri restaurant at Sutton Place Hotel, home of the #1 place in the world for chocolate
The chocolate buffet at Sutton Place Hotel is one of the best is the world
For a lavish buffet brunch created by pedigreed chefs in a plush hotel dining room, you can’t beat the Sutton Place Hotel’s Sunday brunch at its Fleuri Restaurant. Listen to live jazz while you feast on a variety of dishes from savoury to sweet.
More of our favourite brunch spots
If you’re a frequent bruncher here, don’t worry; Fleuri constantly rotates its menu items so you’ll never get tired of the same delicious selection of charcuterie, Eggs Benny, or baked salmon… as if that were even possible. Its many stations are staggered around the room, so there’s never too much of a traffic jam.
Definitely leave room for dessert. The lavish dessert table features many of the sweets found in the Sutton’s famous Chocoholic Buffet, which was voted by National Geographic as the #1 place in the world for chocolate.
Here you’ll be able to try a variety of homemade luscious cakes, pastries and pies, including Fleuri’s famous Black Forest Cake, first made by its former pastry chef, Wolfgang Dauke, who began his passion for pastry making in his homeland of Austria.
To enhance your dining experience at the Sutton Place Hotel, check out its wine club. There’s no fee to join and after you register, you’ll be eligible for up to 50% off your food purchases at the hotel’s Gerard Lounge and Fleuri restaurant (including Sunday brunch).
Sunday brunch at the Sutton Place Hotel’s Fleuri restaurant (855 Burrard Street, 604.642.2900) is $42.00/adults, $21.00/children (4-12). 11:00am – 2 pm. Note there are two seatings, at 11 am and 1 pm, so if you go at the later time, do be prepared to exercise your foraging skills, as they start clearing the tables promptly at 2 pm, although they’ll never rush you and will encourage you to stay and enjoy what you’ve gathered.
