When B.C. teachers announced their rotating strike schedule, it left many scrambling for childcare. As the strike heads into its second week, be prepared with this list of places that are offering special programs.

Playland Although Playland has yet to announce its plans for the week of June 2 to June 6, today (May 29) the amusement park is offering special hours (10 a.m.-3 p.m.) at a special rate ($21.50). Check Playland’s website as they will be confirming plans for next week later today or tomorrow.
Vancouver Phoenix Gymnastics Phoenix Gymnastics will offer a Gym and Swim camp for students from both Vancouver and Burnaby school districts. 9am-4pm, $80Register online.
Arts Umbrella
Arts Umbrella will be offering day long programs in Vancouver and half day programming in Surrey. Vancouver 8:45-3:35 $85 Surrey 10-1:30 $45Register online.
