For gardeners of all levels
Whether you’re a newbie with just a planter of herbs on your apartment windowsill, or a gardening guru with a backyard full of blossoms, the 21st annual Northwest Flower and Garden Show aims to please.
This year’s show features six acres (2.4 hectares) of exhibits and gardens, packing thousands of plants into the Washington State Convention and Trade Centre and making this the biggest NWFGS yet. In addition to world-class displays by top garden creators, there’s also the brand-new interactive butterfly garden, the “Sproutopia” area for kids and over 120 hours of seminars presented by internationally-recognized speakers taking place throughout the five day event; industry pros will be sharing tips on growing veggies, staying sustainable and gardening in small spaces, and offering new tricks for even the greenest of thumbs to try. And if you somehow still have time on your hands, don’t forget to check out the Marketplace for goodies from over 350 nurseries and other outdoor living vendors.
The show runs Feb 3 to 7, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Adult tickets are $20 per day; multi-day passes are available online at gardenshow.com.
