Cibo Trattoria is the perfect spot to visit if you and your Valentine love Italian food. Chef Faizal Kassam will be preparing an impressive five-course menu for Valentine’s Day, which includes bruschetta, tagliatelle, polenta and more. Cibo’s cozy atmosphere makes for an extra intimate dining experience. $65 per person

If seafood is what you’re craving this Valentine’s Day, Joe Fortes is offering up special items available from February 12 to 14. Fans of 50 Shades of Grey, take note. If you want to take your date to the place where Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele had their first coffee date in the movie, then Rainier Provisions is where you want to be. Since the movie was filmed in Vancouver and specifially at Rainier, it’s only fitting that the Gastown restaurant’s three-course Valentine’s dinner is inspired by the movie. $40 per person
