Plunge into the murky unknown at Vancouver Aquarium’s Sea Monsters: Fact or Fiction presentation. Join Adam McGirr, vice president of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club, for a talk about sea monsters past and present. After the presentation, guests can have a 30-minute sneak peak of the aquarium’s newest exhibit, Sea Monsters Revealed, which explores some of the most terrifying and fascinating creatures of the deep.

Its Railtown heritage tasting room is filled with character, and its small-batch beers are full of flavour. This luxurious dinner features four beer-infused courses with surprising pairings and mouth-watering results.

For something a little stronger, head to Upstairs at Campagnolo for their Bourbon Sow dinner. This southern-inspired meal will be paired with two whiskys and a specially crafted cocktail. The dinner will include dishes like a slow-smoked pulled pork, fried okra, pig liver pate and a chocolate cake iced with an aged butter and burnt caramel buttercream. Deep Cove’s Seymour Art Gallery is offering guests the chance to do just that with its Yoga in the Gallery event. This one-hour yoga class is free and open to yogis of all levels. The class will be a relaxing Hatha style yoga with a focus on breathing, stretching and meditating.

Participating restaurants will donate 25 per cent of their profits to to support local men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS.
