In 1995, a group of passionate community members came together and decided that urban residents needed a Farmers Market. Since then, Vancouver Farmers Markets have become a vital part of our community offering the freshest local produce, B.C.-prepared foods and artisan products. This season, celebrate more than 20 years of fresh, delicious food with six different markets across the city. Yaletown Farmers Market
Enjoy this European-style country marketplace alongside Yaletown's brick buildings, cafes, and boutiques. Where: 1200 Mainland Street, Vancouver (outside the Yaletown-Roundhouse Skytrain station) When: Now until October 27th (every Thursday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.) Check online for more info. *Important note*
After three years, Vancouver Farmers Markets (VFM) will be moving its Yaletown Market at 1200 Mainland to Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza (649 Cambie Street at Georgia). VFM’s Yaletown Market will continue to run at 1200 Mainland through the month of May and will relocate to Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza on June 2.
Trout Lake Farmers Market
Sample artisan breads, stock up on organic eggs and meats, and get the freshest fruits and vegetables at one of the older and most beloved markets in the city. The Kitsilano Community Centre's parking lot turns into a vibrant market each year.
