Master Gardeners work in a variety of volunteer activities, including:

➢ Educating home gardeners at garden centres;
➢ Working on the plant information line;
➢ Participating in community projects that range from therapeutic gardens in hospitals to gardening with children in schools; and
➢ Speaking or writing about aspects of gardening.

Apart from the joy of volunteering, benefits include an opportunity for lifelong learning with garden experts as well as the pleasure of being in a community of dedicated gardeners.
