Pam Chilton is a residential building designer and owner of Zimba Design. Since its inception in 1997, Zimba Design has been nominated for several industry awards. Most recently Zimba was awarded the 2013 Western Red Cedar Award at the 9th annual Wood WORKS! BC Wood Design Awards. Pam has the honour of being appointed the first female building inspector on the North Shore, serving the District of West Vancouver for 10 years. She holds a Diploma of Building Technology (architectural major) and Management Certificate in Interior Design (Honors). Pam has served as a Director for the Building Designers’ Institute of BC (BDIBC), on the Advisory Design Panel for the City of North Vancouver, and on the Professional Development Committee of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC). She is also a member of the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC, Canadian Construction Women, the Building Designer's Institute of BC and the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce.
