Halloween in Vancouver brings haunted houses, ghost trains, eerie corn mazes and pumpkin patches

According to the Canadian Farmer’s Almanac, Halloween night (October 31st duh!) in Vancouver will have stormy weather with milder-than-normal temperatures and a heavier-than-normal dose of precipitation. Which means two things:

  1. Those costumes better be rainproof
  2. You should try and squeeze in as much Halloween fun as possible into the days leading up to the spooky night itself.

Looking for ideas? Vancouver has loads of family oriented Halloween activities at all your favourite places, including the PNE, the Aquarium, Science World and Capilano Suspension Bridge. But for some outside-of-the-box ideas, check out these creepy events that offer up some real frights.

Corn mazes are a must-do for Halloween and we have several to choose from. Remember to pack water and dress for the outdoors.

These attractions tend to get more frightening after dark, so if you have little ones an earlier arrival time will lead to a less scary experience.
