The validity of psychic predictions is the focus of this special, which sees the acolytes of noted clairvoyant Edgar Cayce studying the methods he used to foresee happenings on the stock market and call the outcomes of criminal cases.

Jungle Gold

This reality show follows wannabe miners George Wright and Scott Lomu as they head to the African jungles of Ghana with hopes of discovering gold and striking it rich. Despite having no experience and limited funds, they can’t possibly do any worse than than those Gold Rush guys in Alaska.

The Big Decision (Season Finale)
9 p.m., CBC
Dragons’ Den’s Arlene Dickinson makes her final decision of the season when she chooses to lend her financial expertise to one of two struggling Vancouver businesses, either the Flag Shop or Save-On Meats.

Why Poverty?

Airing in 50 countries, this groundbreaking documentary series seeks to open the eyes of viewers around the world to the global epidemic of poverty. The first two entries in an eight-film schedule are shown tonight, beginning with Give Us the Money, which examines celebrity-driven campaigns that seek to enlighten through fame.

Emily finds that an infant patient is suffering from a condition that will require the parents to make a life-changing decision. Later, she must help a man who has lost his faith after going through surgery. This one could be a major tearjerker.
