This spring, Vancouver's Gentle Fawn offers five transition staples you can feel good about wearing
Introducing Be Gentle, a low-impact initiative released by Gentle Fawn this spring. Having made the commitment to be gentle on the planet, Gentle Fawn has launched a range of items made with low-impact fabrics.
Check out five low-impact styles that are perfect for wearing now… and throughout the summer!
While we count down the days ’til warmer weather, this lightweight, feminine, long-sleeve will be on rotation in your weekly wardrobe. Made of Tencel Modal, a fabric known for its softness and flexibility, it’s a go-to work-from-home staple. Tencel Modal is produced from sustainably sourced wood and requires less energy and water due to its closed loop production process.
A spring accessory now… and your beach cover-up this summer! Gentle Fawn has converted all their best-selling cover-ups to EcoVero Viscose. This fabric generates up to 50 percent lower emissions and water impact than generic viscose and is produced using sustainable wood. The Mosaic-1’s warm tones and subtle print pair beautifully with the neutral tops in Gentle Fawn’s newest drop. It’s the easiest layering piece you’ll own.
A classic style made a little better, the Nadine tank has been relaunched using Tencel Modal to make it a low-impact option. This tank is effortlessly stylish and comes in tan and teel options if you’re looking for a pop of colour! Style with your favourite denim and sneakers for a causal look, or layer it under a cover-up and throw on some sandals.
This is the jacket to satisfy a season of monochromatic looks. A cream jacket is a must-have for warmer months and pairs back to denim easily for an effortlessly, stylish look. The Fleetwood is made with recycled cotton which is grown with the intent to promote biodiversity by eliminating the use of pesticides. (Check out the ways @thefamilyjewelsblog styled her Fleetwood here!)
An upgrade to your regular white t-shirt is the Sloane. A slight flutter sleeve and peek-a-boo back detail give a feminine touch to a simple staple. Like the Nadine and Lilith, the Sloane is made using Tencel Modal and comes in additional colours.
