Located on Main Street since 2004, this small independently owned DVD/Blu-ray store has more than 28,000 titles to choose from (800 of which are on Blu-ray). And if you can’t find what you want, the staff can help out and will even special order titles for you if they’re still available. Movies are for both rent and purchase.
According to Main Street resident Cherisse Dye, “the staff are always happy to help and recommend great movies. And they don’t just recommend the hot new flick, often it’s something kinda indie and smaller budget, but still really good.”
Heather Lochner is a stay-at-home mother and a freelance writer. She loves combing the neighbourhoods of Vancouver to find locally owned shops and restaurants. Together with her two children, husband and dog, she lives aboard her sailboat in Vancouver. When not at work or school, the Lochners are out cruising the BC coast.
