Almost 1,000 guests attended the BCBusiness Top 100 networking event featuring special guest and Victoria native David Foster who is considered one of the most successful music producers in history.
The afternoon began with a stand-up networking luncheon followed by an interview of Foster by Canada Wide Media chairman & CEO Peter Legge.
Foster revealed insightful stories, both business and personal, including his memories of working with such legendary stars as Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Michael Bublé, Andrea Bocelli and Rod Stewart. He even ventured into the audience to take questions, resulting in a very entertaining afternoon that included a presentation of his high school report card and a performance of snippets of his hit songs including St. Elmo’s Fire and the disco hit Got to Be Real.
Over the last 25 years, The David Foster Foundation has provided millions of dollars to Canadian families for children undergoing life-saving organ transplants.
