This is one of the three lasagna gardens only seven weeks after planting them on April 26th. The ‘Romeo’ baby carrots are big enough to eat! There is ‘White Russian’ kale in abundance, with leaves fine-textured enough to eat raw in salads. Italian parsley is mature enough for picking, along with assorted lettuce and chicory leaves.
‘Darlaine’ dried peas are maturing, supported by short bamboo canes. Hidden by bushy leaves two rows of ‘Herkules’ Brussels sprouts and a row of celeriac are establishing for the winter garden and I still have plans for this garden bed .. stay tuned!
