Q: Q: I have a beautiful ‘Morning Glory’ that has grown so much that it is has almost reached the top of my carport. It has huge leaves, but no flowers!
Did I overdose the plant with miracle grow?
What can I do now?
Thanks.
‘Morning Glory’ (Ipomoea cv.) generally requires full sunlight and ample exposure to warm temperatures. Make sure your plant is receiving enough of these two requirements.
When fertilizing plants, always follow the directions on the label. If planted in a good soil, fertilizing may not be necessary. Generally speaking, I suggest that you observe each plant (e.g. leaf size, colour and amount of growth) to determine your own fertilizing program.
