Trevor Noah returns to host the 2023 Grammy Awards, music's biggest night
Music has helped the world keep moving, even in the most challenging of times… and that’s a fact that the latest Grammy Award nominations reflect.
CBSThe recording industry’s 65th annual ceremony will be presented Sunday from Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. Former Daily Show host Trevor Noah returns as emcee for the third consecutive gala, and the list of those who are up for honours is led by the one and only Beyoncé, who tops the list with nine bids. That number now ties her with someone she knows quite well — her husband, Jay-Z — as the artists who have scored the most Grammy nominations over time, with 88 each.
Among the other performers who have multiple Grammy chances this time are Kendrick Lamar with eight, and Adele and Brandi Carlile with seven each. They’re followed by a number of talents with six opportunities apiece: DJ Khaled, Future, Terius “The-Dream” Gesteelde-Diamant (also known as Terius Nash), Randy Merrill and Harry Styles.
Here are the contenders in several of the top categories at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.
