Do you fancy yourself an expert handyman? Now is your chance to test your chops at the casting call for HGTV’s new show, Canada’s Handyman Challenge

The show will be judged by an all-star trio of HGTV home renovation experts: Mike Holmes of Holmes on Holmes and Holmes Inspection, Bryan Baeumler of House of Bryan and Disaster DIY and Scott McGillvary of Income Property.

Rounding out the cast is host and Vancouver girl Jillian Harris, formerly of the Bachelor/Bachelorette fame and more recently, star of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Canada’s Handyman Challenge is making its way across Canada in search of the country’s best handyman, and they will making a pit stop in Vancouver Saturday, July 16.

Four lucky hopefuls from the Vancouver auditions will go on to compete on the series, which is set to premiere on HGTV Canada in winter 2012.

After Vancity, the show is off to Halifax July 20 and Toronto on July 24.

If the show’s premise piques your interest, and you want to earn the bragging rights that come with the show’s top prize, be sure to pre-register online for Saturday’s audtion. You will also need to come prepared with a homemade handyman project of your own to show off your skill set.
