Walking along East 11th, a few steps west of Main, a large garden graces the walkway in front of a beautiful 1911 heritage building. Peering into the windows, the greenery is extended inside where clients sit and wait in a peaceful waiting room. Looking up, the sign reads “Massage and Therapy Centre.” Established in 1981, this therapeutic clinic offers a wide variety of care—massage, rolfing, acupuncture and reflexology.
“I needed a girl’s night out,” says Kim Struthers. “My friend and I booked massages for the same time and not only did the massage therapist help with some pain I was experiencing, but I also had a lovely evening.”
