Mid-Main builds a healthy community by starting with its people.
What began as an idea, turned into a reality. In 1986 an idea was formed by the Board of the REACH Clinic. They envisioned an alternative to private practice in medical and dental care. They wanted to form a collection of community health groups covering a wide range of health services who could share resources, all of it housed under one roof.

It took two years, but in 1986 the Mid-Main Community Health Centre was opened. Today, this non-profit community health centre offers medical and dental care; groups for diabetics, those wishing to quit smoking and women’s health; and community groups for parents and youth. Working within the community, Mid-Main strives to provide the best quality of care according to the individual and family needs.
Their website says it best, “At Mid-Main, we believe that healthy people make healthy communities.”
