Vancouver just got a lot sexier thanks to a new angelic presence on Robson Street, and we got a sneak preview
What was formerly HMV on the corner of Robson and Burrard has been stripped down to its skivvies by American lingerie mega-brand Victoria’s Secret.
The 35,000-square-foot store (the second largest Victoria’s Secret in the world) feels surprisingly intimate for such a big space, with various lingerie collections separated into smaller boudoir-like sections spread throughout two levels.
Victoria’s Secret Vancouver officially opens its doors to the public on August 27, but those lucky enough to score an invitation to a special preview shopping event on August 25 got to check out the sexy space a little earlier. Here’s a first look at the highly anticipated new store.
Oversized custom chandeliers, velvet accents and plenty of pink glam up the decor in Victoria’s Secret on Robson Street.
The main level of Vancouver’s new Victoria’s Secret store features the brand’s classic collections of bras, panties and lingerie.
The most dramatic feature of the megastore is the grand mirrored stairway with floor-to-ceiling video screens displaying highlights from Victoria’s Secret’s runway show.
The lower level of the Vancouver store houses Pink; Victoria’s Secret’s collegiate-inspired juniors’ brand, which includes bras, panties, sleepwear and casual apparel.
Victoria’s Secret bottom level showcases the brand’s sexy swimwear line as well as its popular yoga wear line.
Customers will find fragrance, skincare and cosmetics displays scattered throughout both levels of Vancouver’s new Victoria’s Secret store.
Victoria’s Secret’s Robson Street location opens to the public on August 27. The lingerie giant will open its second B.C. location in Metrotown Centre this fall.
