Tata Harper's Natural Skincare Line is full of fast-acting, natural ingredients that nourish the skin
Tata Harper took four years to develop her skincare line
It’s not often you get a mini-facial from the owner of a world-class skincare line. Most often it’s some nice rep from the brand, or a beauty expert of some sort, but rarely from the creator herself.
I sat face-to-face with Tata Harper recently while she was in West Vancouver promoting her 100% natural luxe skincare line, now available at Kiss & Makeup.
Makeup-free and with a perfect complexion, the soft-spoken Columbian-born beauty quickly assessed my skin and set to work on a multi-step facial that left my skin fresh, plumped and dare I say it, yes – dewy.
“We all try to live healthy lives, and synthetic products don’t belong in beauty products,” Harper said.
Tata Harper Skincare is produced from start to finish at Julius Kingdom, her 1,200-acre organic farm and company headquarters in Vermont’s Champlain Valley. All natural and toxin-free, the line took four years to research and develop, and even comes in recyclable packaging – glass, metal and 100% post consumer paper. But don’t let the natural skincare idea make you think these products don’t involve the latest technology, research and development common to high-end brands.
The combination has quickly attracted celebeauties Gwyneth Paltrow, Christy Turlington and Julianne Moore as fans.
The skincare line is extensive, and the products Tata used in my facial were as follows:
I left the store and went into the glaring September sun without a stitch of makeup, and didn’t think twice about going into the rest of my day barefaced. Many facials leave me hiding under giant dark sunglasses and ducking into my car at lightening speed. Not this one.
