Q: I’d like to know if the Helmond Pillar Barberry bush is available in Canada. I live in Calgary, Alberta. I have not had any luck finding this bush.
Can you tell me if it is indeed available in Canada and – if it is – would it be sturdy enough to withstand our harsh winters? I would appreciate any help you can offer.
Thank you.
As beautiful as the Pillar Series of Barberry are, (I saw it in Portland last year), I am afraid that they’re available in the U.S. only and cannot be imported into Canada according to CFIA regulations.
Maybe it will change someday soon – I sure hope so.
